I love when these three come up with some grand game or project that they play at for hours.
Yesterday it was a restaurant that served ginger tea and energy balls. Today it’s life size gingerbread people.
We are all enjoying these slow December mornings learning and playing together.
We’re enjoying a little snow day here on the homestead. It just keeps falling and we just keep making more coffee.
The kids are traveling back and forth between our house and the neighbor’s house.
The ducks have even ventured out to see what’s going on. The chickens? Not so much.
It finally feels more like winter around here.
Here’s a little bit of what we’ve been up to over here. We cut down a monster of a Christmas tree. It looked so much smaller out in the forest. But it’s all decked out and we’re loving it. Emma’s favorite thing is to turn off all the lights and just “look at it until we fall asleep.” Which we haven’t actually done (the falling asleep part), but it’s fun to plan I suppose.
Our house has been full of imaginative play this week. I’m listening in to all the castle building and pirate shipping and lego creating while finishing up some last minute sewing and knitting.
They spent most of one day with the blocks. Caleb was mostly not helping so they took turns pushing him around the house in a box which he absolutely loved.
I hope your house is full of laughter too! Merry Christmas!
